
Erhard Cramer received his PhD from RWTH Aachen University in 1997 and obtained his habilitation in mathematics at University of Oldenburg in 2003. After holding the position of a Professor of Mathematical Statistics at Technical University of Darmstadt, he was appointed Professor of Applied Probability at RWTH Aachen University in 2004. His research interests include statistical and probabilistic analysis of ordered data, censoring models and related inference, lifetime data, and reliability. He has co-authored two monographs on censoring methodology and serves currently as an associate editor for several statistical journals, including Computational Statistics and Communications in Statistics.
