Taizhong Hu

Taizhong Hu is a full professor of Probability and Statistics at the University of Science and Technology of China. His research interests are risk measures, extreme value theory, statistical dependence, stochastic comparisons and their applications in the fields of actuarial science, operations research, reliability mathematics and other fields for many years. He has published more than 100 academic papers in international academic journals. His research achievements have earned him the First Prize of the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award. Now he serves as an Associate Editor or Editorial Board member for several prestigious journals, including Insurance: Mathematics and Economics, Probability in the Engineering and Informational Sciences, and Quality Technology and Quantitative Management.
